Medicaid

Your local County Community Health Department can help you apply for Medicaid.  Applications for Medicaid can be combined to include SNAP, TANF and  LIHEAP through one application process.   

  • You can get free help applying and setting up an account at Sweet Grass County Community Health, located at 115 West 5th Avenue Big Timber MT, 59011
  • You can apply by yourself online at apply.mt.gov.  This option allows you to apply for SNAP, TANK, and LIHEAP at the same time.
  • You can also apply by yourself at healthcare.gov (does not allow you to apply for SNAP, TANF, or LIHEAP at the same time)
