Hearts and Hands Hospice organizes a team of professionals and trained volunteers who work together to support the patient and the patient’s family through the final stages of illness and dying. Hospice care does not end with the death of a patient, but continues with support for the family through a 13 month bereavement period.

In addition to end-of-life care, Hearts & Hands Hospice maintains a durable medical equipment loan closet, makes a monthly donation to a community member with health-related expenses, and provides education and support to groups in the community. The durable medical equipment available for loan includes walkers, wheelchairs, bed-side commodes, and more. All equipment is loaned out free of charge to area residents.
