Area II connects older adults aged 60+, caregivers, and people with disabilities to resources, services and support that promote independence, well-being, and quality of life.
Support for Aging Process: Through our Information & Assistance (I&) program, we provide information, resources, and support to help navigate aging, maintain independence, and access needed services.
State Health Insurance Program: State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) provides free, unbiased counseling and assistance to help Medicare beneficiaries understand and make informed decisions about their health coverage.
Money Management: Offers support with budgeting, bill paying, organizing finances, and other day-to-day financial management needs.
Self-Directed Personal Care Program: Under the Consumer First Choice (CFC) program, eligible individuals receive in-home personal care services, allowing them to direct and manage their support with guidance from Area II.
Veterans Directed Care: Veteran Directed Care (VDC) provides eligible Veterans of all ages with home and community-based services while giving them greater choice and control in directing their own care and supports.
